Saturday {part 1} was very mellow... the morning was spent with friends at the beach and the afternoon was spent in the yard, making OJ and picking flowers. I actually even feel asleep on the grass {which felt amazing!}. Oh I also ran a couple carne asada burritos and a bottle of wine to my friends and their new little guy Winston {cutest name ever and such a beautiful baby}. Sunday {part 2}, was INCREDIBLE! stay tuned... {hint: it has to to with French General}
PS. I have a new obsession and it is called Pinterest. Follow me here and if you are interested in starting your own let me know and I will 'invite' you.
i was JUST thinking about your fresh squeezed oj the other day. it's the best!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. The beach... I crossed the street today in brooklyn and thought for a split second how the granular little pieces of snow/slush reminded me of sand. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteA morning at the beach and a nap in the grass? That sounds like an absolutely perfect weekend. Where do I sign up?
ReplyDeleteSan Diego was nice and warm and sleepy on Saturday! Our weekend included carne asada, too. I usually bring my friends carne asada fries after they have babies...when they get that "starving for protein" feeling!
ReplyDeleteSo far it looks like an amazing, relaxing and refreshing weekend... Can't wait for part 2!
