In Martha Stewart's October 'good things' she showed how to drill holes in a pumpkin and put white lights in all the holes. The idea stuck and I couldn't wait to get out our drill and go nuts. I used a 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch drill bit and made holes all over randomly... it was so much fun, who would have known? I didn't do the white light step but I put 5 votives in the pumpkin to make sure it is extra bright.
