a little harvest + a croissant {or 2}

I think this is the latest I have ever posted on a Monday. Hi. So this weekend was wonderful and a bit crazy too. Ross and I had a fun date night {thank you Heather}. We saw Barney's Version which I really liked. It is kind of my favorite type of movie, one that has a good love story, one that makes me cry and one that is a little quirky. Saturday was spent birthday partying, with some garage climbing and then an overnight at the Hotel Del with Ross' parents for the Children's Hospital Charity Ball. It was such a fun fancy night {thank you Nini and Buck} and thank you Gigi for watching Henry. Sunday was very lazy spent at Home Depot and Armstrong's {for provisions} and in the yard harvesting our fruit and planting our beds.
Which brings me to this morning and why my post is so tardy. Heather and Brandi came over for a little breakfast. Which consisted of conversations that went from blogs to religion, while we pigged out {there is no better way to say it} on the most DIVINE croissants in all the land... which Brandi made by hand the day before and baked for us when she got to my house {not only is she an astrophysicist but she can make croissants!}. It was such a treat. I love this little blog world I am constantly inspired by all the ladies I meet and like we all agreed this morning; we had no idea that so much would come from simply posting online about our lives. Hope you all are having a wonderful start of the week.
