My sweet friend Cara had a beautiful, healthy {9 lb!} baby on Easter... she named her Lilly {so sweet}. This weekend my mother in law {Nancy} and I threw her a shower at my house. It was so sweet to have all of her closest friends over to gush over her beautiful little love bug.

Nancy made all of the food which was incredible. She made the best lemon bars I have ever had {I promise I will share the recipe} and these adorable cupcakes with meringue frosting {I will get that recipe too}. Oh and the little animals are from the
Meri Meri cupcake kit.
I don't know what these little yellow pom poms are called but I love them! I also did lots of peonies which were so big and beautiful {from Trader Joe's!}.
Cara loves Amaretto cookies so I got a huge box of them from Little Italy and gave them a bit of flare for a little take~away.
