Vanessa's 'Snip Snaps'

Thursday, April 22, 2010

I am not really sure where to begin when talking about my sister Vanessa, she is amazing. I am so incredibly proud of her and she continues to blow me away every time I think about what she has done in only 22.5 years. She is brilliantly talented and will be graduating from USC film school this year {ya VV!}. I absolutely love hearing about her travels and nightly adventures so when I stumbled across her Polaroid photo collection I knew that she must share. Thank you V for such a fabulous post. love you to pieces.

Vanessa B here to share some of my inspirations and adventures with you. I adore Alexis’ blog and I am so excited to be apart of it! As her sister I’ve always looked up to her for pretty much everything… And I mean everything. With that said, you can only imagine my excitement when Lex asked me to be a guest blogger on Fern & Feather. Without further adieu, I would like to give you a glimpse into my wacky world and the things that inspire me.

Looking pretty on the Rue de Lille in Paris

One part badass and one part damsel in distress – the way every modern girl should be

On the set of Devendra Bandhart’s, Foolin' video. For all the F&F moms out there, be sure to cover the kiddo’s eyes if you decided to check it out. Trust me on this one…

Dance, Dance, Dance… Late night clubbing at BC off the George V in Paris

Go Metro!

My new zone of inspiration: my girlfriends Lucy, Toree and Sarena have the most incredible apartment just oozing creativity. I guess that’s what you get when your girls are Lucent Dossier dancers, exotic animal trainers, editors and all around talented women.

Why does bathroom graffiti look so appealing? Maybe it’s the high-schooler still living in all of us…

The most delectable little treasures… Macaroons from LadurĂ©e!

happy is what happy does

The Masses blood drive for Haiti. I gave blood. Check out the website to see some of the magical projects that go on in this haven of creativity.

Take a moment for yourself everyday. This was mine that I am sharing with you. El Matador beach on a beautiful Sunday.

Though the tower is apparently hated by locals, what would the Paris skyline be without it? To think they almost tore it down…
I hope you enjoyed that blip into my life. I’m going to leave you with this as it inspired me today. Hopefully it will do the same for you.

“Every human has four endowments – self-awareness, conscious, independent will and creative imagination. These give us the ultimate human freedom…the power to choose, to respond, to change.” – Stephen Covey

All my love,
Vanessa
