Halloween weekend...

My little buckaroo.

I made a little apple pie which was so yummy {I will post the recipe tomorrow... it is sooo easy & from Magnolia Bakery}. For the top of the pie I used a cookie cutter to cut out tons of bats and layered them all over the top. It ended up looking like a bat cave. I saw this idea in Martha and I am in love. It is so cute. The possibilities are endless... leaves, hearts, letters, Christmas trees, numbers.

This image will forever be in my memory. It was so much fun seeing my little 15 month cowboy taking candy out of his bucket so he could 'trade' for a new piece.

We ran into this little cutey while Trick or Treating and she hands down won for best costume, Halloween 2009! Her mommy is amazing. Every year she makes the most incredible, creative and original costumes. Ruby Rainbow you stole the show.

On top of all the sugar and excitement of the weekend two good friends got engaged.

As soon as our very moldy-science experiment pumpkins went in the trash I felt like the holidays had begun. So I spent Sunday in the Art Barn working on some new items that I cannot wait to put on Etsy. Stay tuned for more...
