karin's house + art studio
Tuesday, November 9, 2010
Karin is a friend of mine that inspires me to no end. Her house is a reflection of her endless creativity. She grew up in this house with her 9 siblings and has turned it in to a little creative haven. Complete with an art studio, chickens, cats, dogs and a bee hive. This weekend Karin hosted the 'concrete potting class' so I was able to sneak in and snap away. Here are some photos of her house and art studio. enjoy...

Alexis-
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! I would like to email but can't do it with link above. I'm not sure if it's my computer or the link. My email is bellamylynne@hotmail.com if you would be willing to share yours. I have a question. Thanks so much!
The colors in her home and studio are amazing!
ReplyDeleteWOw what a great space! Very inspiring indeed!
ReplyDeletewhat a nice place - very inspiring, indeed!
ReplyDeleteIt was such a fun, inspiring day! And you captured it beautifully in these pics. How did your planter turn out???
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I love it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the studio, especially the red cabinet full of fabrics and the open shelves with everything at arms reach, the narrow shelves for propping art. Love it all...including her McCoy collection. When we moved from back east I almost got rid of all my McCoy except the white...after reading blogs I have started using certain colors depending on the time of the year for succulents. Your blog has changed the way I look at things!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos Alexis, I'm impressed!! Her home/studio are amazing and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteBoy I'm glad I cleaned up before you came!
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo so much. That little fish is so dang cute, it took everything in me not to swipe from her shelf and stick it in my smock pocket.
ReplyDeleteThanks for having us Karin!
i think karin and i would get on like a house on fire!
