girlie weekend + a day at home

Monday, October 25, 2010

This weekend my girlfriends and I headed out to the desert to celebrate our bachelorette, Deja. It was the perfect little getaway and on Friday we left early so that all of us girls could squeeze in some family time. Ross, H and I did a little yard work and went to a friends for pumpkin decorating. I am exhausted but I loved every moment. Here are a few snip snaps...

I have a friend who opened a beautiful little French pastry shop in the desert. Before I left I sent her a message saying that if I can sneak out I would love to see Clementine, although I knew with 14 girls and only a few cars that might be a stretch. When we pulled into the desert our first stop was Trader Joe's, as we pulled into park, there it was, Clementine!! I was so excited, I didn't know where this little gem was and we parked right in front of it, needless to say we had a very synchronistic lunch. {Jen I hope you are reading... Clementine is absolutely beautiful and the food was divine!! love you!}

perfect weather + pool + friends + magazines = heaven

There was lots of girlie time, before we went out on Saturday we spread out all of our make up to share {too fun}.

Okay dinner at the ACE, so this was my highlight. Not only does the ACE have the best vibe {ever} but the food was fabulous.

Dawny organized for us to have a private little Taco Bar. It was too cute and absolutely perfect.

I missed my guys so much and was so excited to get home for a big Henry and Ross sandwich. We played in the yard, took a nap and then headed to friends to glitter up some pumpkins. I am embarrassed to admit that I actually decorated my own. I have decided that decorating is far less yucky and more fun then carving. So excited for a week of Halloween activities... Dear Rain, please go away. ox, Alexis

P.S. excuse the chaos of my site as I am moving things around. Just like my room when I was a kid I didn't have my bed on the same wall for much longer then a few months... I am feeling like I need to shake it up a bit. Plus did you see my new "Reverie button" more on that later! {so excited!}
