I did a reading at the wedding that I basically cried my way through... slightly embarrassing but read with lots of love.
I know this photo is totally blurry but it captures the moment that Dawn walked down the isle and I was crying so hard I couldn't hold the camera still. So beautiful.
My sweet friends.
All the flowers were in different vases and pots that Dawn collected and the flowers were totally 'elegant garden party' {exactly what she wanted}.
Dawn's sister sewed and hand stitched all the handkerchiefs for the grooms man. You did such a good job Kiki.
Strawberry jam favors that Dawn and her mommy made. How incredibly sweet and special is that?
The cake toppers also made by Kiki. Perfectly created and hand cut with love.
Dear Dawn & Brian. I love you both so much. May you keep the glow and love that you had on your wedding day for the rest of your life.

ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! Lex thank you for posting already! The day was so perfect and truly magical! Happy Honeymooning Dawnie and Bri, we all love ya!
ReplyDeleteThe love that flowed through this wedding is evident...every detailed was seriously sealed with a forever kiss! And I LOVE that you used your typewriter for the reading notes....
ReplyDeleteDo you have any photos of the actual cake? I would love to see it. Actually doing a wedding cake for a friend in May, so I'm gathering lots of ideas.
The cake. So our little secret (all of my friends have done it) is we get the fabulous carrot cake with cream cheese frosting at our local donut shop (it is called VG's and is a local landmark) it is $150. We through it on a fabulous cake stand and the florest make it fabulous with tons of fresh flowers.
ReplyDeleteMelissa I will look for some more cake shoots and email them to you.
