Friday night Ross and I picked up Henry from Nini's -- so glad to see my little guy -- put Henry to sleep for the first time in a week -- rocked him for an extra long time -- woke up to a crisp bedroom -- took a photography class with Jennie -- drove to cut down our Christmas Tree -- cut down a great 7' 'Charlie Brown tree' -- Henry & I got car sick on the way home -- Henry turned green and threw up -- Ross noted that he won't take that route home again -- threw tree in garage -- hosed off Henry's clothes -- went to Encinitas Holiday Parade -- spent Holiday Parade inside a warm bar with a beer -- decorated tree -- Sunday morning got pastries & had a lazy morning -- was informed by Ross that the 'swell of the century' will be here on Wednesday -- stocked up on honey, holly, fish & greens at the farmers market -- went to the Artist Market -- played in fake snow at the Episcopal Church in Del Mar -- got a fish taco at the Brigantine -- went home to put lights on the house -- read Good Night Moon -- put Henry to sleep, aaahhhh
Henry's favorite part of cutting down our tree was the 'guck' or tractor parked next to us.
Champs & holiday cheer were flowing at the Encinitas Holiday Parade. Scene in front of
Rustic Rooster.
There is something about our freshly cut tree that makes me so happy although that 'something' is not the fact that it is so flimsy our tree topper almost 'topper-ed' over the tree. Cut down at
Highland Valley Christmas Tree Farm in Ramona, CA.
The most divine pastries in all the land.

Farmers market holly sprucing up my hutch.
A scene from the Artist Market... thank you for such a wonderful event
Karin!
Even the Art Barn got a little holiday flair this weekend{thanks babe}.
Looking forward to a healthy week with Henry, lots of decorating, baking & gift making in my near future. Tune in this week for lots of gift ideas {for your hubby, hint hint} starting tomorrow with the 'Perfect Stocking.'
