A few weeks ago we got an adorable invitation in the mail. It was so sweet, the birthday girl made the invite herself and then mom color copied them. I loved it. If you are anywhere near the Legion of Honor in San Francisco you need to go see this exhibit. In fact my mom and I have even thought about flying up for it. Isabelle de Borchgrave is known for her painting but in this exhibit she shows her passion for textiles and costumes. Everything in the exhibit is made from paper that she has painted and manipulated. It is just amazing and so inspiring.

Here are the beginnings of a 'car mat' for Henry. I wanted to make something for him that he can use with his Matchbox cars at home or on the run. This weekend Nini and Buck {Ross's parents} took us to the Happiest Place on Earth. I was a bit sceptical about taking my little 2 year old who gets freaked out by battery operated toys and who only knows two Disney characters but he didn't skip a beat. I loved seeing all the magic through Henry's eyes... it was a total blast.

Karin is a friend of mine that inspires me to no end. Her house is a reflection of her endless creativity. She grew up in this house with her 9 siblings and has turned it in to a little creative haven. Complete with an art studio, chickens, cats, dogs and a bee hive.
