Alexis!!!! I am so happy to finally have your amazing posts to read again! You have been missed! I love the story and symbolism of the pine cone. I know you will hold on to that forever! I know anyone that reads your posts has a sense of peace wash over them... even if/when your life isn't necessarily filled with peace. Your inner balance always shines through.

After my moment of peace I thought, "bossy pants, really?" Honestly, i actually rated that book a 2 out of 5. But so glad you love it. Maybe one day soon we will have the chance to discuss.

you know, it's funny... i am not a fan of pearl jam (at least past junior high!) but i do LOVE his voice on his newest projects and the ukelele album is so sweet. must help keep you mellow with all of the changes happening!
